When did HQ Dumpsters begin?

Our roots go back to 1991 with a company called HQ Landscaping. We began to add refuse collection, recycling, clean-up and other maintenance services in 2008. Through it all, the firm has been family-owned. This has helped us maintain the customer focus, community loyalty, and dedication to high quality that has identified us from the very start. It’s explained in more detail on the About Us page.

What are your hours of operation?

Calls are answered Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. If you call after hours, you have the option to leave a voice message and we will return your call as soon as we return to the office.

We observe six holidays per year – New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The office is closed on these days and there is no trash pickup. The remainder of a holiday week, we are on a one-day delay. Friday pickups are done on Saturday.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, money orders, bank checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Do you accept hazardous waste in any of your containers?

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY HAZARDOUS WASTE IN ANY OF OUR CONTAINERS. This includes, but is not limited to, motor oil, antifreeze, asbestos, liquid paint, poisons, chemicals, toxins, flammable items, and gasoline. Call to inquire.

Do you ever have special deals or promotions?

Dumpster Rental Questions

Do I have to be on site during container drop off?

We strongly recommend someone be available during drop-off to confirm where the container should be placed, to sign for delivery, and to discuss other matters, regarding pick-up.

How much is a ton?

2,000 pounds.

Is there a door on the roll-off?

Yes, on the back side. It swings open so you can ‘walk’ items into the container.

Does the roll off come with a rental time?

Yes, typically seven days. Anything over the seven days is $10 per day or $50 per week. Please call for any specials we may be running for longer rental terms.

Do I have to call to schedule the pickup of the roll-off?

Yes. We don't pick up until the customer calls stating that they are finished with it. Anything over the rental period will be charged at $10 per day.

How far in advance do I need to place an order?

To be safe, we recommend ordering 2 to 3 days before you need a container. We deliver Monday thru Saturday.

Do containers have a weight limit?

Yes, all roll-off containers have weight limits. If you go over the allowed weight there will be an additional per-ton charge that will be prorated.

There are additional charges for tires, mattresses and box springs. Call for other items.
