Christmas tree disposal options

!!!Southington Residents Only!!! Option 1 – Southington residents, $15 Southington Land Conservation Trust provides curbside Christmas tree pickup for any Southington resident for a $15 donation. Pickup dates this year are January 2nd, 8th, and 15th. Pickup can be scheduled on their website – SouthingtonLandTrust.org. Your reservation must be made by the Thursday before your desired pickup. Their contact number is 860-276-7398. Option 2 – HQ customers, free Bring your tree to our transfer station, Central Connecticut Resource Recovery (CCRR), located at 65 Triano Drive, Southington. Dispose of it for free in the dumpster provided. Option 3 – HQ customers, $10 Curbside pickups will take place the weeks of 1/3/21 & 1/10/21. Tree pickup can be scheduled by calling our office – 860-422-5678, or emailing – ResidentialOps@HQDumpsters.com. Alternatively, you can place your tree curbside before your normal trash/recycling pickup. Your driver will note your tree and we will send our tree removal team to pick it up. The $10 charge will be applied to your next invoice.

Reminder We will not be picking up on Thursday November 25th. We will be picking up On Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. Have a great Holiday!

HQ Dumpsters & Recycling will be closed on Monday, September 6th for Labor Day and there will be no service that day. All pickups for the week will be delayed one day. If you are normally picked up on Friday, you will be picked up on Saturday next week.

As always, please put your bins out the night before your pickup.

For the week of July 5th we will be running normal operations, Monday through Friday, due to the holiday falling on a Sunday. Please put your bins out for your normal pickup day – there is no delay.

HQ Dumpsters & Recycling will be closed on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day, and there will be no waste collection that day.

All pickups for the entire week will be delayed one day. If your normal pickup day is Friday, you will be picked up on Saturday this week.

As always, please put your bins out the night before your pickup.

We were able to safely complete all of our Monday collection routes and will be running on a normal collection schedule for the rest of the week. If your a Tuesday pickup please place your carts out tonight and leave them at least 3ft apart and a few feet from the curb to help prevent them from getting knocked over from the plow trucks. This will help our drivers out tremendously and help keep them safe while they are doing their routes
